By spending a Fate point and using up a small quantity of Lapis Lazuli, the character can create a whirlwind in a zone. On the turn the twister is created, the caster can direct it at a character with the Immortal skill: the defender can attempt to flee or hold on to something with Athletics. If the caster manages to harm the target, it takes damage as normal, moves involuntarily into a neighboring zone of the caster’s choice, and gains the aspects Prone and Dazed. Whether or not the attack succeeds, the entire zone into which the twister was created probably gains the aspects Blinding Debris and Nearly Impassable Wind. The whirlwind remains until the end of the scene.
