By spending a Fate point and using up a small quantity of gold, the immortal magically work existing wood into another useful shape. This can be done with living or dead wood. The resulting shape cannot include complex moving parts or decorations, but it can create multiple copies of the same item, for example, a stack of spears. Wood shapers typically remove a non-lethal amount of wood from a living tree when using this spell. An Immortal skill roll determines the rough amount of material created: assume a cubic (3 spears) foot per +1 achieved. A 0 or worse creates just a small amount: a single spear, for example.
